The Gribshnobler and LadyMsGee get into a discussion of two novels of the Fitzgeralds: Save Me The Waltz by Zelda Fitzgerald and Tender is the Night by F. Scott Fitzgerald.  LadyMsGee shares a great deal of information culled from much research, including the autobiographical and historical elements of each novel, the Fitzgeralds' difficult marriage, Zelda's difficulties with mental health and treatment, and more. This episode will be of particular interest to Zelda fans, or those who would like to know more about her life and artistic work.

Supplemented with two pieces of 1920s 78 rpm jazz, and two pieces of classical music mentioned in Save Me The Waltz.

We were inspired to do this episode by the TV series Z: The Beginning of Everything, starring Christina Ricci and David Hoflin. Watch the show on Amazon
