I am joined by musician Rand Kelly for an epic-length conversation about progressive rock, Genesis, and their classic prog album Foxtrot (back when Peter Gabriel was still in the band) including references to Arthur C. Clarke's novel Childhood's End and attempting to interpret the epic album centerpiece Supper's Ready.  Along the way we get an intro with Lady Ms Gee (we talk about the difficulties of recording a podcast about Beloved and get ready to watch the oscars) several pieces of music by Rand Kelly, another surprise appearance by Lady Ms Gee, and to top it all off a newer song by John Demarkis and John Marsden.

Update: My initial upload featured a blank space where one of Rand's songs was supposed to be. I have re-uploaded the episode with the song in place.  If you have the original you may want to re-download.
